FAQs
What insurances do you accept?
We currently accept most major insurances. We also offer reduced pricing for self-pay patients.
Do you offer online appointments?
Yes we do. We strive to make getting the care need as easy and convenient as possible.
Will I have access to a doctor or nurse practitioner after hours?
Absolutely. If you call our practice after hours, you will always be given an option to speak to someone right away. (In the case of a true emergency, please call 911.)
I rarely get sick. Do I really need a Primary Care Physician?
Yes! Your primary care physician can identify health issues in their early stages before they become major problems. We offer preventive care like immunizations, regular imaging & lab testing, like cholesterol, blood pressure, and cancer screenings. In addition, we offer diet and lifestyle advice to maintain or improve your health.
What should I discuss with my Primary Care Doctor?
It’s important to be open and honest with your physician regarding what’s going on with your health. Don’t hold back if something is bothering you.
- Are you experiencing painful or uncomfortable symptoms that interfere with your daily life?
- Is a medication you’re taking making you feel sick?
- Do you need help with making healthy decisions or lifestyle choices?
- Are you having problems sleeping?
- Are you experiencing stress, depression or sadness?
All of these factors and more can impact your health. The more information you give us, the better we are able to treat you effectively.
How often should I see my PCP?
That depends. If you’re in good health, seeing your doctor once a year for a physical exam is an excellent way to manage your health. If you’re experiencing health issues, your doctor will guide you on the recommended frequency of visits.
